Where is my data stored?

On your device, in your browser’s local storage. Nothing is uploaded — there is no server to upload to. If you clear your browser data, your plan and streak are gone too, so be a little careful with “clear browsing data”.

What is no contact, and why does everyone recommend it?

No contact means no texts, no calls, no “accidental” likes, no checking their stories — usually for at least 30 days. Every contact resets the emotional clock: your brain treats it like a tiny reunion, then goes through a tiny breakup again. The tracker on this page exists because streaks work — seeing “Day 12” makes it much harder to throw it away on a 2am text.

I slipped and texted them. Did I ruin everything?
